About Sophia

Sophia is a storyteller whose work takes many forms. She is a stage director, filmmaker, performance artist, essayist, photographer, needleworker, and cosplayer.

Sophia formerly served as casting director at Underscore Theatre, Chicago’s home for new musicals. She holds a B.A. in Communications with majors in theatre and gender & sexuality studies from Northwestern University and is currently working towards her M.A. in Media, Culture, and Communication at NYU.

Sophia uses her storytelling skills by day as the founder and principal of Sinsheimer Digital Media, her content-creation and marketing business, which is dedicated to helping clients tell their own stories through stellar online content and presence.
